What is Curriculum Vitae or Resume ?


Curriculum vitae is often shortened CV, résumé or vita . It is a written overview of a person's experience and other qualifications for a job opportunity.
A resume or Curriculum Vitae is a document that summarises your work experience, education, skills and achievements for a prospective employer.

What are the advantages of CV or Resume ?

A CV is typically the first item that a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker and is typically used to screen applicants, often followed by an interview.
It is usually required as part of a job application, and is considered essential information in order for an employer to assess whether an applicant would be a suitable candidate for a first round interview.

Type of CV or Resume 

The most common type of resume is called CHRONOLOGICAL.
 It lists your education as well as experience in reverse chronological order.
Thus, your most recent activity must be listed first.
Of course, there are variations in which you can use headings that highlight your background and qualifications but otherwise there is nothing special about them.
